Awe inspiring vastness, snow capped peaks, a clear sky with thin wisps of clouds, a mud coloured village blending into a rugged landscape and the pristine blue expanse of a lake. Beholding this amazing vista, anyone will be at a loss of words, with the wind devouring whatsoever is uttered in disbelief. You seem to be thoughtfully wearing a headgear of the same colour! :)) Hope the ride along the Indus was memorable.

Surprised to see the excellent condition of the road to Mahe.I remember walking across the bridge. Kiagar tso is so pleasing to the eyes. I think we sighted a Kiang there. Your disclaimer on "No colours edited" made me smile. Tso moriri is a vivid part of my memories too. I stacked stones one upon another on the shore, lost in reverie and wonderment. Grebes and bar headed geese were everywhere. Time spent under a beautiful sky. Through your video, I sense that new buildings have cropped up in Karzok; a hint at the potential influx of tourists visiting remote high altitude lakes (a fragile habitat that thrives in isolation). Essentially a geologist's or a paleontologist's happy playground. Lovely visit.Thanks for sharing.

The sunrise timelapse was good. Cheers to your early morning effort.The deserted swathe between Tsaga and Hanle is unique. It holds a distinct ecosystem, which is better observed on foot. Stunning views, marine fossilized rocks, pristine sunlit shoreline, the glistening surface of the lake, motionless overhanging puffy clouds, geese in flight and a cold breeze numbing the face. The "dancing with abandon" session, added some human spontaneity to the calm surroundings.The slight green glow in the night sky was interesting. At first I thought of it as an aurora or something, because a rare red sky was captured there, if I am not wrong. It was in the news.

Your observation is astute "as if the sky & the lake are contending for the coveted shades of the colour blue!" Must admit that the weather was favourable to you. Enroute there was also this spot where marmots awaited passerbys for food crumbs! Pleased to see the signboard for Durbuk. We stayed there at the camp. I remember Chang la was overcast, road works were on..we crossed the check post but didn't stop at the secluded viewpoint at pangong tso where you stood.The view from afar is indeed awe inspiring..the magic of light..the gift of sight..."asadharon!" and "aar ki bolbo?" are an unmistakably thrilling sentiment! Happy to see a sand plover going about its daily business. We caught the bus for Tsaga from tso and I vividly remember boarding the bus for Hanle from Tsaga on a weekend. An unexpected sighting of a Pallas cat the previous evening was interesting. Merak looks changed though. I don't remember the prefab cottages overlooking the lake during the journey.The quietude is surely a blessing for a walk along the bank. Was it a Brahminy duck making the touchdown? Awaiting rest of the series.
